Traffic agent's files, 1960-1997.

The series consists of various traffic related reports, forms, and records maintained by Canal traffic agents. These reports provide unique documentation of day-to-day traffic on the canals. The files were kept to meet recordkeeping and reporting requirements in administering the state's canal system. The records include: origin and destination reports (1960-1978); tonnage reports (1960-1981); trip clearances (1990-1994); and other various traffic related forms.
